A month ago my D.I. team won the regional tournament and was going to the state finals! My teammate said state is easier than regional. I asked him why, he said it just is. I couldn’t wait.
Yesterday my D.I. team won state! I can’t believe I’m going to the Global Finals. We just got airplane tickets to Tennessee. My teammate was right about state being easy. In fact it was VERY simple.

A-ha. So it’s simple now? Who was the boy that couldn’t sleep the night before the Finals?
It’s easy because you guys practiced the skit a lot and did a lot of work building the structure. Hard work always makes things easy.

We keep talking about DI and almost forget that we are going to Orlando next week !!
As Da-Jin said, May 22 (Global Final) is not just a big day, it is a huge day. And we are going to have a very busy Spring, besides baseball/softball, there are DI meetings !!

Good Job, Da-Jin. Team work and hard (but smart) working will make you sucess. Of course, daddy and mommy are the best supporters. I am very proud of you. When you come back, come to my house for real home-made BBQ, which is different from what you have tasted before, I promise! Enjoy the trips -Orlando and Tennessee!

The local newspaper finally did a story on the competition. But it’s a week late. It’s still reporting the Regional: Bedford teams shine at Destination Imagination
I guess they will have story about the State Finals next week.
