Hi there! This is my first post (or one of my first posts, don’t remember which) on my family website! As you can probably tell, today’s topic is "Why [the Heck!] Does it Keep on Raining?!?"
Yup, it’s been raining for like a whole MONTH here where we live. Yeah, okay, it’s nice and sunny in the morning and afternoon (excluding today, though, it’s been all wet and disgusting ever since I got up), but then BOOM it starts thundering and the lightning is like A LIGHT SHOW FOR PETE’S SAKE. 繼續閱讀 'Summer Essay #1: Why Does it Keep on Raining?!?'»
A month ago my D.I. team won the regional tournament and was going to the state finals! My teammate said state is easier than regional. I asked him why, he said it just is. I couldn’t wait.
Yesterday my D.I. team won state! I can’t believe I’m going to the Global Finals. We just got airplane tickets to Tennessee. My teammate was right about state being easy. In fact it was VERY simple.
A few days ago, I went to Mataking Island and saw a bunch of little fish with yellow stripes. On the island, I stayed in a resort called Reef Dive Resort. Ooh, I can’t wait to tell my friends back in America that I actually touched CORAL and saw TWO starfish during summer vacation! It all happened when we went to Mataking Island, which is part of Malaysia.
We woke up at 5:00 to get ready for the 45-minute boat ride from Semporna to the island. When we got to the dock, we saw so many exotic fish under it!

Technically this entry isn’t about the Fourth of July, but "Ipswich" didn’t look right. (I’ll explain that.) Ipswich is where we went today! Yipee! I just LOVE the name! (Ipswich! Ipswich!!)
We went to Crane Beach first. It was so fun! We jumped the waves, dug a huge bathtub, and lunch (cracker sandwiches. Yum!) and helped some other people build huge sand forts.
